                          bio.

                          Cait Fergus earned a BA in theatre from Lake Forest College in 2008, and an MFA in Scenic Design at Boston University in May of 2011.    Recent design work includes Once on This Island at the Hammond Academy of the Performing Arts (March 2012), Sirens at Citadel Theatre Company in Lake Forest, IL, The Argument by Greg Moss with Interrobang Theatre Project in Chicago, A Streetcar Named Desire at the Hammond Academy for the Performing Arts in Indiana, Hedda Gabler at the Boston University Theatre, The Master Forger' with 11:11 Theatre Company in Boston, Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom with A.R.T. in Cambridge, How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel, Diventare by Jennifer Rachel Weiner, On the Verge, or the Geography of Yearning by Eric Overmyer, and Sophocles' Electra.  She also has experience in scenic painting and properties.


                          Next up:  Cait is the the technical director for Collaboraction's production of 60 Miles to Silver Lake (Chicago: April, 2012), scene designer for Helikon Repertory Company's Be Careful of Words (NYC: May, 2012), and scene designer for The Body Project's The Rose Parade (Chicago: May, 2012 and Italy: July, 2012).  She has joined Joseph Budka at PAGODA STUDIOS...making things.
