Cait Chiou earned a BA in theatre from Lake Forest College in 2008, and an MFA in Scenic Design at Boston University in May of 2011.    Recent design and production work includes painting Sita Ram (with Means of Production, Harris Theater, Chicago), painting Ralph Lauren Christmas window displays (with Means of Production, Michigan Ave, Chicago), painting Light Opera Works' production of Man of La Mancha (with Means of Production, Evanston, IL); creation, scenic and costume design for HelikonRep's production of Be Careful of Words (New York City), design and technical direction for The Rose Parade by the Body Project (Chicago and Italy), technical direction of Sixty Miles to Silver Lake with Collaboraction (Chicago), The Argument by Greg Moss with Interrobang Theatre Project in Chicago, Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom with A.R.T. in Cambridge.  Cait has experience teaching at the high school and college level, and also in props artistry and carpentry.
